Administration of nitrous oxide
After analyzing your vitals and systemic conditions, we will offer nitrous oxide if you are anxious about dental treatment. After you are comfortably seated on the dental chair, the nitrous oxide gas will be given via inhalation using specialized equipment. The flow of gas is controlled and monitored by us every second. During the entire process, your vitals are monitored as well. Within a few seconds of breathing the gas, your mind will become relaxed and calm. The dental procedure will be performed after conscious sedation is achieved. You will be able to interact with us during dental treatment with a relaxed mind. Once the procedure is complete, the nitrous oxide gas will be removed, and the sedative effects will quickly wear off.
