Planning And Diagnosis

Importance of planning and diagnosing

It is important to correctly diagnose early and treatment plan properly to prevent future problems and get the desired outcome that lasts for a long time. This is where the extensive clinical training, continuing education and experience of our team of doctors along with the proper use of technology sets us apart. We also spend the necessary time required to do this right by listening to and understanding our patients’ needs and never rush our patients. Our dental office is equipped with highly advanced technologies to enable us to properly diagnose problems early and fix them before they turn into bigger and more expensive problems. Not only your oral health, but any disturbance in your body can reflect itself in your mouth.

Some of the Advanced technology we use in our office

  • We use advanced imaging such as cone-beam CT scanner and high definition Intraoral cameras to better diagnose, analyze, and investigate dental issues. This also helps us to better educate you about your dental issues by visually being able to show them to you.
  • We use a special screening device called VELscope for early oral cancer detection
  • We use iTero 3D digital scanner for bite analysis and smile design
  • In certain cases, we use a technology called CariVu for finding dental cavities. It uses a patented transillumination technique that identifies the decayed part of the tooth. This provides a good alternative for pregnant women and infants where Xrays are not ideal.
  • Soft tissue lasers which make certain procedures much easier, faster, and more precise.

Benefits of Cone Beam CT scanner

  • Better image quality and accuracy
  • Images bone and soft tissues
  • A lower dose of radiation
  • Quick and painless
