Procedure
We take a special 3D scan using an iTero(™) digital scanner and take a series of photographs that allow us to create an exact 3D replica of your teeth. This 3D model will help us to assess how you bite, how your teeth are aligned and correlated with your jaw joint and the surrounding muscles. With this analysis, we can simulate putting your teeth in the right position to give you a proper bite. We have over 20 years of experience in straightening teeth including many complex cases that other doctors were not comfortable doing.
With Invisalign, each aligner gradually moves the teeth and is worn for about 2 weeks. To save you time, we can also do progress checks using video consultations so you don’t always need to physically come into the office.
Once your teeth are properly aligned to the desired arch line, it is necessary to wear retainers. This helps to hold the newly moved teeth intact until they get used to the new position.
